1st René Carcan International Prize for Printmaking

The René Carcan Fund, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, launches the International René Carcan Prize for Printmaking. Three separate awards will be made:
- The René Carcan International Grand Prix (€5,000);
- The René Carcan International Young printmakers Prize, awarded to an artist under the age of 40 (€3,000);
- The René Carcan Public Prize, awarded by Internet users (€2,000).

The call is open to printmakers and students in printmaking, of any nationality and age, who use any of the following techniques: intaglio, lithography, linocut, xylography, silkscreen or monotype. Candidates must submit their application by 25 August 2014 at the latest on the website www.award.renecarcan.be
