Exhibitions

In line with its yearly tradition, the Heritage Fund will be presenting its latest acquisitions at the BRAFA, to be held between 23 and 31 January at Tour & Taxis, Brussels. Among other masterpieces to be discovered at our stand are a watercolour by Spilliaert, a lace bedspread and a Coptic headdress.

This exhibition, devoted to the Liege painter and engraver Armand Rassenfosse – held at the Bibliotheca Wittockiana in Brussels from 30 September 2015 to 31 January 2016 – and the accompanying publication provide a new approach to Rassenfosse’s work as an illustrator.

Over the next few months, numerous works from the King Baudouin Foundation’s collections will be enriching various exhibitions in Belgium and abroad, providing more opportunities to (re-)discover them in a different context.

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (MRBAB) are inaugurating a new thematic room in which a work by Alfred Stevens, 'Portrait de Camille Lemonnier dans dans l’atelier de l’artiste', acquired by the King Baudouin Foundation, will have place of honour.

La Chronique des Amerois, (The Amerois Chronicle) part of the Goffinet archives in the King Baudouin Foundation Collection, will be on show at the Royal Palace this summer.
