After more than 40 years, the Heritage Fund is saying goodbye to its director, Dominique Allard. He is handing over the torch, with great confidence, to Jérémie Leroy. We are extremely grateful to Dominique for the many years of devoted service that he has given to protecting our cultural heritage.

After more than 40 years, the Heritage Fund is saying goodbye to its director, Dominique Allard.

The entire team of the King Baudouin Foundation’s Heritage Fund is hugely grateful to him for the many years of devoted service that he has given to protecting Belgium’s cultural heritage. With unfailing passion and commitment, he has dedicated his career to ensuring that the many treasures of our heritage are handed down to future generations and made accessible to everyone.

Under Dominique Allard’s management, the Heritage Fund’s collection has grown to include almost 30,000 works, often donated or bequeathed, which have been redistributed to some forty museums across Belgium. The Heritage Fund also manages over 170 Funds, set up by benefactors who share the same interest for our heritage, culture, arts and music.

Dominique Allard is now confidently handing over the torch to Jérémie Leroy, who has recently been appointed Director of the King Baudouin Foundation, and Anne De Breuck, Coordinator of the Culture and Heritage programme.

Jérémie Leroy was Financial Director of the BOZAR for many years. In addition to his experience of the world of finance and banking, he has a special love for music as well as the wider fields of art and culture.

We wish Dominique Allard a very happy and well-deserved retirement and we give a very warm welcome to Jérémie Leroy.
