The Raoul and Margaretha Kok-Krahé Fund has provided support for the acquisition of the Den Rooy nature reserve at Hoogstraten as well as land through which flow the River Merkske and the River Mark.

The call is open to printmakers and students in printmaking, of any nationality and age. Candidates must submit their application by 15 October 2015 at the latest.

The King Baudouin Foundation’s Heritage Fund has recently acquired a major work by the Belgian painter Léon Spilliaert in a sale at Sotheby’s, Paris. The painting will be entrusted to the Fine Arts Museum of Ghent.

A study day at the BELvue Museum on 5 October 2015 will focus on ethnographic and non-European collections. The common theme for the day will be the challenges facing the conservation and presentation of such collections.

La Chronique des Amerois, (The Amerois Chronicle) part of the Goffinet archives in the King Baudouin Foundation Collection, will be on show at the Royal Palace this summer.
