Vases with a repeat motif

Charles Catteau
1922-1940

From 1922 onwards, Catteau used more geometric designs. Repetition was one of the most recurrent principles in his decoration, as on this vase with vertical bands of stylized flowers from the neck to the base of the vase and repeated all around its circumference.
