The Private Art Support Foundation is presenting a retrospective of the work of Jan Yoors that it recently acquired. ‘Jan Yoors, Photography 1934-1975: a selective overview’ is hosted by the Delen Private Bank, one of the PASFoundation’s new corporate partners.
The ninth Baron Velge Prize has been awarded to Professor Giorgos Antoniou for his work on the impact of World War II on society and current policies in present day Greece. To mark the occasion, Professor Antoniou will deliver an exclusive series of 4 lectures at the ULB.
The King Baudouin Foundation has recently acquired Gigi and Bertie Urvater’s Liber amoricum. The album brings together contributions from artists such as Magritte, Appel, Miró and Delvaux and provides a mine of information for in-depth research on art collectors in Europe.
Until March 1st 2020, the Doges’ Palace is holding a fringe exhibition to the Venice Biennale with masterpieces from Flemish collections. Among the exhibits are a silver ensemble designed by Rubens and the terracotta sculpture Apollon et Python by Artus I Quellinus, two masterpieces from the King Baudouin Foundation’s collection.
