Discover, thanks to pieces from the Pernet Collection belonging to the King Baudouin October Foundation, the period when jazz definitely arrived in Belgium. From 4 to 7 October 2012 at the Bruges Concertgebouw.

The many facets of water omnipresent in the Liege region, as shown in documents principally from the State Archives in Liege, 29 September to 30 November 2012.

To celebrate the Heritage Fund’s acquisition of Henry Vieuxtemps’ unpublished manuscripts, the Bibliothèque Royale de Belgique (Belgian Royal Library) is organizing a midday concert devoted to the composer, at 12h30 on Friday 12th October. The occasion will also mark the launch of a virtual exhibition about the composer, created by the Library.

Three works by Antoine Mortier from the Thomas Neirynck Collection are on loan for the exhibition ‘Antoine Mortier. La transfiguration du réel’, to be held at the Anciens Abattoirs, Mons from 29 September 2012 until 6 January 2013.
