On 13 October 2016, a study day will be held at the Château de Freÿr on the role of water in historic parks and gardens. Historians and various specialists will take an in-depth look at the importance of water features.

Several of our patrons’ funds have acquired works of art or objects that bear witness to our past: an exceptional table fountain in Imari porcelain, a precious Tournai book of hours, almost 140 letters written by Maurice Maeterlinck and a pair of 19th century miniature portraits.

The InBev-Baillet Latour Fund has an initiative program for the benefit of the protection and preservation of important pieces of Belgium's moveable cultural heritage.Candidates must submit their application by 19 May 2015.

The René & Karin Jonckheere Fund supports conservation or restoration of works of art. Candidates must submit their application by 28 April 2015.

Magnificently restored, thanks to support from the Léon Courtin-Marcelle Bouché Fund, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, the Vierge des Vertus (Virgin of the Virtues), created by Walthère Damery, will shortly be inaugurated in the Church of Saint John the Baptist in Herve, Liege.
