As of 14 June 2015, the Royal Mariemont Museum is exhibiting part of an exceptional collection of Coptic textiles, comprising over two hundred pieces collected by Maria Luise Fill and Robert Trevisiol and recently donated to the King Baudouin Foundation.
L’Homme de Tollund (Tollund Man), a magnificent portfolio by Hugo Claus and Serge Vandercam, has recently enriched the Michel Wittock Fund. The Bibliotheca Wittockiana was able to purchase the work with help from the Heritage Fund.
The art deco chalice donated to the King Baudouin Foundation in 2013 is on show at the M-Museum in Leuven, until 12 July 2015. This modern liturgical piece was designed by the Benedictine monk Dom Martin and made by the Maison Wolfers Frères.
