Thanks to the King Baudouin Foundation, a masterpiece of 17th century European sculpture is returning to Brussels. Sculpted in white marble, Charité was created between 1673-78 by Jan Van Delen as a commission from the Counts of Tour et Tassis for their chapel at the Sablon Church.

The Pierre-François Tilmon Fund has acquired a statue of Saint James Major. This Medieval work dates from the 16th century and is attributed to Maître de Waha.

This unique handwritten review contains drawings, sketches, collages, texts and notes of the Belgian surrealists. One hundred issues of the single copy review appeared between 1949 and 1951.

The King Baudouin Foundation has acquired a notebook of theoretical drawings by Rubens. The notebook is one of four copies made from an original manuscript by the Antwerp master explaining Rubens’ artistic theories.
